The Nissim de Camondo museum was built in the years 1911-1914. This museum was formerly the private mansion of Moses de Camondo, a collector of 18th century French furniture and works of art. He donated his home and the collections it housed following the death of his son, Nissim de Camondo, during the war and in his memory asked that the museum bear his name. The museum is part of the Museum of Decorative Arts. The Nissim de Camondo museum is dedicated to French decorative art from the second half of the 18th century. The house has been preserved as it was when it was still inhabited, which will allow you to discover the arrangements and the functioning of a house from the beginning of the 20th century.
